The Pub at Golden Road is a full-service, family-friendly environment located just a stone’s throw from Griffith Park in Atwater Village. Open 7 days a week, The Pub offers ample indoor and outdoor seating, over a dozen Golden Road beers on tap, and games for the young (and young at heart).
Seriously!? What kind of team names are you people picking? I mean, "Anonymous Potato"!? REALLY!? Aren't ALL potatoes pretty much anonymous!? Okay, sure, Mr. Potato Head was a pretty big name for awhile. But name me ONE other potato that wasn't anonymous!
And "Purple Unicorns"!?! Okay, we all know that purple unicorns are entirely fictional. Only PINK unicorns are real. We all know that, right!? RIGHT!
Phew. Okay...I'm glad I got that off my chest. Now, about the recap...we had an awesome group of tough competitors turn out for the second week of our new quiz at Golden Road Brewery. This fantastic venue is attracting a strong contingent of talented players, with King Trivia League stalwart Werewolf Bar Mitzvah leading the pack.
Incredibly, Night Lit came in 2nd, despite missing the first round (punctuality pays, fellas), and BAE Watch rounded out our top three teams.
