Proving once again that King Trivia fans aren't afraid of ANYTHING, a baker's dozen teams of fine, fun-loving folks turned out for a pre-Thanksgiving blast of autumnal competition last night on the Pitfire patio. And competition is exactly what they got!

And they call it Pitfire for a reason! The fire pit was a popular spot for players to do battle, and the numerous warmers scattered about the courtyard provided a cozy warm environment for the evening's competition.

But it was the players that really brought the heat. A two-way tie for first AND third place resulted when the UnderDawgs and A Team Has No Name finished with identical scores of 74!

But wait! There's more! Go Broncos! finished in a lock with Puppy Pals Forever just two points back with matching 72s! The Underdawgs secured their first-place win by offering the closest estimate for the longest leg span of the biggest spider on record (which the Guinness Book of World Records says is 11 inches.

Oddly, A Team Has No Name said those spider legs measured a hearty 26 inches in length, which makes ya wonder what kind of ungodly huge spiders they have at their place!
