It Was Barnacles!

We had another fun night over at Barnacles! Even though the crowd was small the energy was still there. Ice Ice Baby Snatchers started the game out strong with 6 points in the first round, twice more than any other team. But in Round three Pyong-a-Logo came in closing the lead by just a few points, with Shook Sunday trailing in third. In round 4 we had a late entry by Leads Leads Leads who came into the game strong closing round 4 with only being behind by two points for third place.While we had a battle for first it also seemed we had a raging battle for third as well. At the end of the night we had Ice Ice Baby Snatchers in first with 62 points, Pyong-a-logo in second with 53, and our their place going to Shook Sunday with 46 points.

Lots of fun at Barnacles tonight! Five teams duked it out, but through effective double or nothing strategy, Raiders Redemption started to pull away mid game and never looked back. The battle for 2nd and 3rd place was fierce and one double or nothing made the difference - with Pyongyang pulling the 2nd place win over Linelle, who finished in a solid 3rd.

This was probably one of the most fun nights at Barnacles Trivia, and yes I am speaking for everyone in attendance! Our group of regulars is steadily growing, and it's a pleasure to see each of you come back every week to compete against each other and square off in the occasional physical challenge. This week we had a very clear top place team, with the second place group not too far behind. But the REAL action came from the last two teams competing for the third place slot. It would eventually go to Balls Full of Quiz, much to Warriors in 3's dismay. Please come back next week - I have confidence you can rise from the ashes and return to take the top prize! Prove me right!
