Brewyard Beer Co. is a new Craft Brewery & Taproom in Glendale, CA. We specialize in Californian "Aled" Lagers. The most well known of this hybrid style is the California Common (A.K.A Steam Beer). We offer 8 of these hybrid beers currently: Soul Cal (California Common), Imposter Syndrome (India Pale Ale'd Lager), Black Sunrise (Black Ale'd Lager), The Smoking Redhead (Smoked Irish Red Ale'd Lager), Sunday Morning (Pale Ale'd Lager), Sunday Morning Joe (Ethiopia Yirgecheffe Coffee infused Pale Ale'd Lager) & Perky DIPL (Double India Pale Ale'd Lager). We also have a very popular Saison brewed with Passion Fruit, A Basil Belgian Single and a Belgian Dubbel.

T'was the night before Thanksgiving, and all was merry and bright at the Brewyard Beer Company in Burbank. We have a great group of quizinators at the Brewyard, and we are certainly thankful for you all.

But I have to confess, this quizmaster did not feel very joyful during the festivities. Truth be told, I've been pretty upset for the last few days. I should be grateful, I know. I have my health. A wonderful wife; tremendous friends. Food on the table; no wolf at the door.

Yes, I have much to be thankful for. And yet, I cannot escape the dark cloud that appeared over my head recently, when People Magazine announced their Sexiest Man Alive for 2023.

Patrick Dempsey!? Patrick FREAKING Dempsey!?! I've been passed over AGAIN!?! I mean, George Clooney was hard enough to accept but now this!?

Happy Thanksgiving...I guess!

The best thing about the quiz tonight at the Brewyard Beer Company in Burbank was the terrific, unrelenting competitive fervor that was on display all evening.

The lead changed hands several times. The final scores were remarkably close, and the tie-breaker question was called into service to determine the final winner.

There was an unfortunate incident involving wet paper towels being thrown among certain gloating competitors, like a U.S. senator picking a fight with a teamster. But peace was restored quickly and the evening ended harmoniously. See ya next week.

Aren't Autumn evenings marvelous? The evening breeze and cool night air lent a perfect sense of excitement to the weekly trivia competition at Brewyard Beer Company in Burbank.

A festive group of quizinators engaged in intellectual battle, and this quizmaster  was delighted by the banter as the lead changed after every round.

From Gaga to Beyoncé to an unexpected appearance by Josh Hutchinson, we laugh together, cried together and - most importantly - quizzed together in an atmosphere of fellowship and comraderie that was enhanced delightfully by that cool autumn breeze.
