One great way to start your week is to meet me at Busby's West on Mondays for a good dose of King Trivia. Enjoy a little drinkin' while you're thinkin'! Nine teams did just so, here's how the game ended.
The Shoe-Ins, first off, chose the perfect name for their team, because they really were confindent right off the bat doubling down, winning seemingly easy to them. They finished in third place with 73 points, just one point behind second, and were awarded the $10 GC. Awesome Possums played stratigically as well, and earned the second place prize, $20 GC, with 74 points. It was Round Four when Can I Get a Hot Tub?!? heard the call and BAM-BAM-BAM! nailed the right answer on the first clue, then double or nothing Rounds Five and Six, pushing them to the very top. With a total of 82 whopping points, Can I Get a Hot Tub?!? received the first place prize, $30 GC, the hot tub is on its way! On our bonus Something to Put a Drink In Round, a beautiful Disney Princesses jug was chosen by the team with closest answer, Win or Booze. Hello King Trivians, here is your recap for Monday night's game at Busby's West.
We may have had three teams playing, but every single question was answered fairly, scored justly, and points earned honorably. Shout out to CroLish Boil who took the third place prize, and a big thank you for playing. There was a tie at the top of the leaderboard, and the tie-breaker went to power siblings, The Effs winning first place. Lisa and Toothpick went two-for-two wins though! Before receiving the second place prize, they also won the choice of an awesome Mickey Mouse coffee mug for guessing the closest answer on the Something to Put a Drink In Round. QUIZ RECAP
Competition was very tight this Monday night at Busby's West, with a total of 11 teams in pursuit of their King Trivia title.
No🚫Pants👖Party🎉 didn't allow to get knocked off the leaderboard, with a one point spread lead at the top of the game, they finished in an honorable third place with 55 points. Since No Pants Party played right and played it safe on Round Seven, Kanicky snuck up by doubling down and beat them to the second place title by two with a final score of 57 points. First place was claimed by Loading... who bumped themselves to the top and won with 67 points, as well as the bonus Something to Put a Drink In Round win along the way.
