About Pappa's Artisanal

We are a great neighborhood pizza and brunch restaurant that's nestled in old town La Verne, California. Serving up sustainably raised, hormone and antibiotic free meats and treats, our goal is to bring communities together through great food and forward thinking education. Outside of the restaurant, we've become known for grilling for all sorts of occasions.  Give us a ring if you're hungry.  We cater. We office party. We festival party. Really fun, chill night at Pappa's! 3 teams duking it out not over who will win prizes but how they will rank! In the end team Jen'll Tell Ya was able to secure the first place prize having successfully double or nothing'd TWICE!

Really fun night at Pappa's! Team Jen'll Tell Ya was able to grab hold of the lead in the first round and managed to keep it through every single round! Team We Can't Agree faltered in the first couple rounds but was able to make a triumphant finish to second place!

What fun to be able to listen to "A boy named Sue" (and other great music) on a Monday night AND play Trivia..!

A very close contest (there is NO WAY Lego pic 7 looked like Scully but a lot of teams got it right!) And who knew Daphne from Scooby Doo's last name was Blake?....now we do! Jen and her team doubled down and took an early lead.

There were a couple of Yankies in the audience to answer the Yankee round 3 and 4 teams doubled down successfully. With this and a 10 point guess, Funky Wagnalls almost took over the lead in Round 4, only to be thwarted by the Jen's successful school supplies knowledge in Round 5 - Scissors Sisters being a tricky answer....

The 80s round and Eddie Murphy's movies didn't knock the Jensters off the top rung, but Ship of Fools snuck into 2nd place...a tie for 3rd was resolved in Funky's favor and SNAFU took their defeat like men (see picture!)

It's been a lot of fun covering as quizmistress at this excellent Monday night venue....see you on the other side!
