QUIZ RECAP

We had another fun night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia! 

Headscratchers won the Drinking Round where we had a spelling bee and it came down to three strong contestants, eventually narrowed down to just two, but Headscratchers came out victorious and won a round of shots! 

They also won the 3rd place prize a $10 gift certificate after scoring 43 points! Pretty good night!

Coming in second place and winning the $20 gift card, was Burnt Toast! They were back in the winners circle after not playing last week! Way to go!

Coming in 1st and defending their crown from last week, was team I really do have friends, I swear. They had a different name, but still took home the $30 gift certificate for the second week in a row! Fantastic!

Another great night if King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills! 

Yet again, for the third week in a row, the team leading the night also wins the Drinking Round. The top teams have been cleaning up lately and winning all the prizes, well not all, but as much as they can get! For the Drinking Round, teams had to identify 8-Bit Covers of popular music. It's basically regular pop songs made into video game-sounding versions of the original. Teams got a point for making the correct artist and the name of the song. With 18 correct, Team Name won the round!

But that's not all, because they led the trivia night from round one with a successful double or nothing, and with multiple successful double or nothings, and a former Jeopardy contestant on their team, they also took first place and won the $30 gift certificate! Impressive!

Coming in second place, another mainstay in the top three, they had a slow start to the night, but a successful double in round 6 got them in the mix for top three, and Hanky Panky ended up taking home the second place prize of a $20 gift certificate!

And finally, coming in third, making a successful return to King Trivia after a three week absence, the Headscratchers took home the $10 gift certificate prize! Way to go!

Another fun night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia! 7 excited teams joined us for 7 exciting rounds of play!

For the Drinking Round we played some Blackjack! Whoever was the last team still standing not losing to the dealer would win the round of shots for their team. It came down to our two highest scoring teams, Hanky Panky and Burnt Toast. Hanky Panky came out on top with a Blackjack while Burnt Toast couldn't beat the dealer's 21. Congrats on the shots Hanky Panky!

They also won first place! Last week Burnt Toast won 1st place and the Drinking Round, this week Hanky Panky did! They took home the $30 gift certificate! Amazing!

Coming in second, not able to repeat their 1st place spot from last week, was Burnt Toast! They still took home a $20 gift certificate though! Not too shabby!
