QUIZ RECAP

It was a glorious start to 2020 with an amazing crowd at Ravenna, complete with a Birthday party for a loyal trivia companion. Cooper the dog was the guest of honor on his third birthday. we had three teams tie for first at the end of regulation with 66 points apiece, only a tie breaking question would separate the riff-raft.

As stated before it took the final question of trivia to decide everything. When the dust had settled in this battle President Calvin Cool Ranch was able to rise to the top as our trivia victor on our first game of 2020. In second place was MouseRat 4-Ever, and third was Why Is Nobody Talking About Hilary's Emails. All of them were awesome competitors on a record breaking night of trivia at Ravenna.

2020 started off with a bang as we had 15 amazing teams all prove that 2020 is the YEAR for trivia at Ravenna. We have a show every Tuesday at 7pm at this amazing bar. We expect to see you here soon!

QUIZ RECAP

It was a record breaking night, on what was our last trivia show of 2019 (with the following two shows happening on holidays). We had an amazing 19 teams and too many people to count all ready to try and win themself a last minute gift!

When all the bells and jingles and Santa walked groggily home we had three teams that had risen to the top of our leaderboard, and two of them were still deadlocked. We knew who or winner was, but we needed to break apart the fight for 2nd place with a tie-breaking question. After an electric question and a close guess from each and Go FaLaLa Yourself was able to get second, with Santa Please Give us a Table falling to 3rd. Our winner overall was the amazing Zooey Dave Chapelle who finished with an amazing 61 points in the deepest field ever at Ravenna.

We'll be back in 2020 ready for more amazing trivia action. I hope all of you have a great holidays and a Happy New Year!

QUIZ RECAP

Alright! First time for me, Quizmaster TC, to host the entire evening of trivia here at my neighborhood Ravenna Brewing Company! A privilege to fill in for their regular Quizmaster Matt. I was excited to do so as I knew this place is always packed and full of fun people ready to play. And indeed, once again, it was.

In Round 1, I Can't Afford to Live in Seattle and I'm Not Matt, I'm Just Disappointed both successfully doubled down and tied for the lead. In Round 2, I'm Not Matt... doubled or nothing again, took the lead, and kept it until the end. They were victorious in taking first place and having the best team name of the night. One of them expressed to me his surprise about how well they did. Great job. You guys won a prize as well as a photo op with me (1st photo). 😉

Is Matt Dead kept a good steady score and with successful double or nothings in the last two rounds, finished in 2nd place! Rain City *Blessed* Pigeons also did the same and finished in 3rd.

Honorable mentions: H&M and I Can't Afford to Live in Seattle also successfully doubled down the last two rounds and were both one point short of a 3 way tie for 3rd place.

Thank you, BBQ Daddies, for sharing your space with me and for that bite of that green onion from your Poke Me. Shout-out and thanks to our amazing bar staff of the evening - Frieda and Tim! Finally, I was pleasantly surprised to recognize a couple guys I knew from team AAIV (2nd photo). They decided to come to trivia night here for the first time and I got host them!
