What could be better than surfing at Huntington Beach?  Grabbing a pint of any of the 24 Dudes’ Brews on tap in our new tasting room in Pacific City before you start your session, that’s what!  Not sure what to choose from?  Sample beer flights and half-pints while enjoying sports on TV or casual conversation in the tasting room’s laid-back atmosphere.

 

Need to pair your Dudes’ with something to eat? Feel free to partake in any of the snacks we have, bring in your own food, or buy something from the variety of restaurants in LOT 579.

 

Remember to purchase growlers, crowlers, or 4-packs for when you have to go.

We had a birthday party full of newcomers join us at trivia tonight... can I get a what what?!?! Flora's bday consisted of 2 teams duking it out to win at King Trivia on her Bday! Sadly, they both fell to the regulars Highway stars who managed to use the double or nothing in the connection round to win the race! Some of the funniest answers came from "My couch pulls out but I don't!"  and with a name like that, how can you doubt it? All in all it was a great success tonight at the dude's, until next time!...

With one of the largest groups to date; King Trivia this Thursday started off with a BANG!  The newcomers team wolf had an close 2nd place finish, while Highway stars had another impressive showing, not only getting 1st place but getting almost every single question right! Their new team addition was incredible. Shout out to "Go Birds!" and "Jeremy wears designer jeans" for being a big group of friends willing to split into 2 groups, and still have a great time. I think this was the first time everyone got the Guess Who round correct, apparently learning about Jimmy Carter's love of peanuts stuck with everyone! Highlight of the night was the question about Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, I mean really, who didn't love that show? See you all next with good questions and great beer at the Dude's in HB!

This Thursday at the Dude's was full of surprises, starting with the come back from team Zissou! First was probably the responses to the picture round about the newest men accused of sexual assault. "Pussy Monster" was my favorite, closely followed by "Old Dirty Bastards" and "My dick is harder than this forced smile". A tie breaker was held by Highway Stars and Team Zissou! Team Zissou was only 3 years away from Highway Stars on their guess. I originally announced them as the winners but afterwards talked with the Teams and Zissou admitted they looked at the Highway Stars answers. Highway Stars opted to give them the 1st place beers and just took the W in scores! A good example of delayed classiness, Ron Burgundy would be proud. It sent me into a glass case of emotion. Luckily Larry held it down with the best brew in Huntington Beach and all the lovely spread Pacific City has to offer.
