Born out of our love of live music, good cocktails and great beer, The Thirsty Ox is the perfect spot for locals and tavelers alike to hangout and relax. Open 7 days a week, you'll always find a smiling face and a cold drink.

Friday and Saturday nights we will feature local talent as well as well-known artists. Test out your singing skills on Tuesdays during karaoke or your inner trivia buff on Wednesdays. We offer something for everyone to enjoy.

It was basically a tie tonight at the Thirsty Ox. 2nd place went to "The Not Cubs" who doubled their winnings by winning our "Hybrid Hold 'Em" drinking round and "Bill Fudge Packers" took home 1st with a little help from a friend who joined their team late in a game but knew A LOT!

What a close game! Team "B Flower" took home 1st via tie breaker over "Reddy To Win" who claimed 2nd. I guess it pays to know that Beyonce is all THAT great* (*This is solely the quizmaster's opinion and in no way reflects the opinions of King Trivia or The Thirsty Ox. even if the Billboard chart may happen to agree with me! BWA HA HA)

Team "Redwood" claimed victory in our drinking round where we played a classic drinking game QUARTERS! it wasn't enough to be the only team to sink a quarter into the shot glass, OH NOOO! They had to sink 3!!

It was the first night of King Trivia over at the Thirsty Ox in Oxnard, damn did we have some fun!
"Grab Her by the Pussy" took home 1st place
3 Drink Minimum were nipping at their heels the whole game and claimed 2nd. And "Xtreme Team" was last but definitely not least since they claimed victory in our "screw the Quizmaster" drinking round.
