Join us for the Brewcakes Local League from August 1 - October 26 to compete against your fellow Brewcakers for bragging rights and awesome prizes!

Brewcakes is a Dessert Gastropub where the whole menu is infused with craft beer, wine or alcohol, while still being family friendly. Come and try our panini sliders, flatbreads, farm fresh salads, and of course all of our desserts! We will soon be serving craft beer and wine! We source many of our ingredients locally and make everything from scratch!

A list of Bizarre Sports:

  • Cheese Rolling: People chase cheese down very steep hills
  • Extreme Ironing: Any extreme sport combined with ironing! It's REAL!
  • Kaninhop (Bunny Jumping): Like horse jumping but with BUNNIES!
  • Bog Snorkeling: Snorkeling in mudwater with no hands or arms
  • Giant Pumpkin Kayaking: Need I say more?
  • Belly Flopping: You can win good money at this one
  • Chess Boxing: Exactly what it sounds like
  • Outhouse Racing: This one was us, outhouses on skis decorated and pushed.
  • Cardboard Tube Dueling: This just sounds fun!
  • Wife Carrying: Man runs his wife through an obstacle course as fast as possible to win her weight in beer.

Of course, there are more like unicycle polo and ferret legging., but no one will ever convince me mustache growing is a sport and quidditch should be taken seriously, people! See you Thursday and Cooperhill's World Famous Cheese roll is almost a month away!!!
