Grunions Sports Bar & Grill is a South Bay local landmark. It’s been a local’s favorite spot to watch any major (and even minor) sporting event while eating the best pub food around. It all started in 1974 when Grunions Sports Bar & Grill opened its doors in Manhattan Beach, CA. The mission then, as it is today, was to provide a place where people can go and enjoy great food and drinks while cheering on their favorite sports teams, in a comfortable (and family friendly) environment where everyone is treated like a regular even if it’s their first visit. When four of the five teams successfully double in the first round, it might be a good indicator that it's going to be a close race -- at least, that was the case this week! Team Plutonium nabbed third place this week, with a very impressive immediate correct answer during the Guess Who? round. (Somebody knows a lot about the royal family.) Their total score was narrowly beaten by Diggle Bicks, which happened to be a one-man team this week! Not only did he score his way to second place, he also scored a pitcher of beer for the best pick-up line in our drinking round. First place this week went to Morgz' Baddies, whose steady progress and successful 20-point double earned them a total of 67 points.

Well done, teams! And hey, to quote Diggle Bicks: how much was the ticket? 'Cause you fine. 😉
