Grunions Sports Bar & Grill is a South Bay local landmark. It’s been a local’s favorite spot to watch any major (and even minor) sporting event while eating the best pub food around. It all started in 1974 when Grunions Sports Bar & Grill opened its doors in Manhattan Beach, CA. The mission then, as it is today, was to provide a place where people can go and enjoy great food and drinks while cheering on their favorite sports teams, in a comfortable (and family friendly) environment where everyone is treated like a regular even if it’s their first visit. Every time we do a number based game, someone always asks me "Is it Price Is Right Rules?" I typically don't like to make things even harder on folks, but tonight's bonus round was begging for an added level of difficulty. The challenge was to guess how many pens were inside the quizmaster's backpack. Closest to the correct answer without going over wins! It was a riveting time as I slowly pulled 21 pens from the backpack and awarded the Diggle Bicks (who guessed 18) with the beer as well as the first place victory in the quiz!
