Grunions Sports Bar & Grill is a South Bay local landmark. It’s been a local’s favorite spot to watch any major (and even minor) sporting event while eating the best pub food around. It all started in 1974 when Grunions Sports Bar & Grill opened its doors in Manhattan Beach, CA. The mission then, as it is today, was to provide a place where people can go and enjoy great food and drinks while cheering on their favorite sports teams, in a comfortable (and family friendly) environment where everyone is treated like a regular even if it’s their first visit. What a fun night of Halloween-esque! From images of ghosts, to a Monster-themed round, a horror genre filmmaker, and finally ending with Stephen King novels - we covered it all! While Team Plutonium had a near-perfect game last week, they struggled to place in the top 3 this week. Diggle Bicks came from behind to secure 3rd place, while Quiztopher Walken played a solid game to steadily keep them in 2nd place. But there was no matching Daddy who Doubled their points early on in the game, and got a good jump on the Guess Who? round. Congrats to our winners and thanks to everyone for coming out - big kudos to QW for keeping me entertained with Back to the Future II trivia while I packed up my gear. Much appreciated!
