Everything was fairly even through the first 2 rounds, until We Bring the Chips Just in Queso successfully doubled round 3 to take a decent little lead, while It's Been Awhile stayed steady and tied Queso in round 4.
Interestingly, there were a number of instances where most teams had perfect rounds, but their shyness kept them from doubling. Hopefully next time they will be a little more daring and trust their instincts.
These two teams stayed within a point of each other the rest of the way, and were in relative command of the game. However, a successful double in round 7, by 2 of the other 3 teams, would have catapulted them into the win.
IBA was leading Queso by 1 point into round 7. A perfect score by Queso (with no double), and one wrong answer by IBA, resulted in a tie for the win. IBA won the tie-breaker to take the game.
Great vibe in the room tonight. Hope to see all 5 teams back next week, and then some. Fun night.
