Oh man. What a time to be sitting at a table with a microphone...
The night had a cheery air despite the fact that I just quit a 20 year cigarette habit and feel like scratching at the eyes of every human I meet. Luckily for me, my trivia posse is so supportive and sweet I only thought about murder 3 times the whole night. Thank you all; you are my people!
The night started out strong with 3 teams doubling down in the first round. No greenhorns here.
The next big batch of DDs happened during round 5 with six teams going hard and winning a whooping 20 points each. Not an easy task, in what I believe to be, a very difficult round. Nicely done everyone!
Ultimately, it was teams Late as Usual and We Might Be Right taking the second and first place spots. Good work guys!
Rok House never disappoints! Thank you to beertenders Tom and Jacob for keeping the beer flowing and being amazing as always. We'll see you next Thursday, unless I lose my mind and end up in jail due to nicotine withdrawals. Til then (hopefully)!
