About The Dudes' Brewing Co. - Santa Clarita

Here you can poke around and get some additional info.  We are a family owned and operated craft brewery founded in 2013, distributed in eight states and based in Torrance, CA (for everyone visiting from out of the SoCal area we are in Los Angeles). The Dudes’ specialize in innovative approaches to classic beer styles designed to appeal to casual beer drinkers and craft beer fanatics alike. In our Torrance, CA brewery or So. Cal. Tasting Rooms, twenty-four Dudes’ beers are always on tap, which include our staple favorites such as Double Trunk Double IPA, CalifornIPA, Grandma’s Pecan English Style Brown, Juicebox Series: Blood Orange Amber, as well as seasonal and test brews that can only be found in one of our locations.  Stop in for a flight or a pint, enjoy our weekly trivia nights, our monthly comedy shows or Yoga & Beer mornings, stay for a while or grab a crowler, growler or 4-pack to go, The Dudes’ gotcha covered.

A nice evening. There may be hurricanes blowing and wildfires still burning (thankfully not at the same party), but on Thursday, come hell or highwater, by gosh there's trivia!

Eleven Teams launched in to a battle of wits and strategy as the points began to pour...slowly. The first round was middling at best, but maybe that's just the inviting attitude of teams trying not to intimidate anyone late to the game! So courteous. Round 2, however, the gloves came off in a grand melee of double-downs, as half the teams doubled successfully and the other half garnered perfect scores!

Round 3 debuted our first zero, but a few other teams did alright, scoring high-ish. Only one team would successfully score all ten points in Round 4, the rest would hang on for more clues, the majority of points scoring on the third and fourth clues with a few dreaded Negative Ones (wouldn't that be a creepy movie? the dreaded Negative ones? Okay, back to trivia).

After a brief reprieve for some rocheambeau facing-off, teams leaned in heavy on the points for the next three rounds, Doulbing where they could to try and jump to the lead. Because everyone returned their pens, there was a tiebreaker for First Place, the best estimators of size would reign supreme, and Dunder Mifflin was able to narrowly edge out Alcoholics Anonymous, although second place ain't that bad, and the latter team was conflictingly the winners of two four-packs of beer.
