The Dudes’ Brewing Company is a Torrance-based craft brewery founded in 2013. The Dudes’ specialize in innovative approaches to classic beer styles designed to appeal to casual beer drinkers and craft beer fanatics alike. My first ever solo trivia debut! I was ecstatic to have it at the Dudes' Brewing Co. considering I have played King Trivia there in the past and was familiar with the venue even before starting. Staff was super helpful and kind in having me get started/setting up the sound system. Started with 15 teams, ended with 12 -- not too shabby!

Geneseo Knights came in at full victory at 62, only 3 points ahead of Case of the Mondays and 4 points ahead of Long Chile vs Ohio 2. Case of the Mondays was in the lead up until Round 6, so this was super exciting to witness a turn of events. Very close game as it is. This was both the Geneseo Knights and Case of the Mondays first time at the Dudes', probably keeping people on their toes! Case of the Mondays has however played at other King Trivia spots, and enjoyed their time at the Dudes' for the first time as well. As described in previous posts, first place winners got 4 Arclight tickets!

The quotes in round 3 were by far the hardest for the contestants. I enunciated and repeated the quotes multiple times (probably which is why I ran overtime) but I felt that's what needed to be done! Contestants loved both the picture round and matching round and really succeeded with those -- we had a lot of successful Double or Nothings come into play!

Made my own playlist for this one, which I think won the crowd over! All in all, very great first experience!
