At Bank of Venice, you are dining in a 1905 landmark. Venice founder, Mr. Abbot Kinney, designed the building after the famous Saint Mark’s Square in Venice, Italy. For years, the pacific railcar dropped beach-goers just outside these doors to enjoy the sun, sand, waves— all that Venice has to offer.

Now, over a century later, we’ve memorialized this icon of Venice lifestyle in the form of a bar & grill, where all are welcome to drink bespoke cocktails, craft beer and California wine, while indulging in locally-sourced cuisine. So sit back, enjoy and don’t panic. It’s organic!

It was a farewell party for sure at Bank of Venice last night. It felt a bit like the troops coming home after WWII, everyone hugging and squishy. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd were bottles of the same of tequila so the competition was mostly for bragging rights. CIROC OBAMA came in prettiest this week, (only 'cuz those sweet dumdums The GERMANS had just left) so they got the Victoria's Secret Body Spray! Yay! Spray away!

Everybody loved the Clue round, though have you noticed there's no bedroom in the Clue Mansion? (There's no pantry or foyer either, I'm looking at you TRIVIA NEWTON JOHN 😉

Anyone coulda won it last night, the scores were wildly fluxuating. In the end, it was down to LORDZ & QWEENZ and What Are We Doing NEXT Tuesday? - the two "house" teams. Rightly so. I hope we meet again soon in the Triviaverse nerds. It was fun.

People just kept on a-comin' in our trivia smackdown at BofV. Regulars LORDZ & QWEENZ were unstoppable but EL PASO IZ FOR LOVERS were there to keep them honest. Lovely Korean tourists GO! CHA CHA tried real hard and would've made double digits if they hadn't had to go early but I think they killed it for not being from here 🙂 Two teams got in late and duked it out for "prettiest" team, THE WINNERS being the winners of course. JUST FOR FUN, you guys are great at this! Come on back.

Since it's Valentine's week, the drinking round was to write new contemporary conversation hearts for when the candy goes back into production. See pics, viewer discretion is advised 😉

The real stars of the evening were the seven dogs in the house, and by that I mean real dogs! Shout out to "Pumpkin", the french bulldog puppy everyone is in love with. Wish she were first prize, we'd have a million teams competing!

ANYBODY could have won the glory last night - all teams were within one or two points of each other all night with upset after upset! The drinking round went aaaaaaall Japanese this week, teams had to write a haiku about our bartender Chris. The competition was fierce since ALL the efforts were deep man. But LOS TRES AMIGOS nosed out the competition. In the end, house champs LORDZ & QWEENZ won by ONE POINT! EMEOWRGENCY and TOOLS will be coming for them next week. Hmphf!
