Tonight was a fun game, with a full crowd. It was a tight game till the very end where Shakespeare stumped all the teams. In tonight's drinking round, the teams had to figure out drama movie titles by figuring out picture clues. Two teams (Don't Panic and From First to Last) tied by getting all correct and had to figure out how many oscar nominations Meryl Streep has. Don't Panic won the tie breaker by guessing 14 which was closer to the 21 she has!
More teams need to double down in the early stages if they want to keep up with Rainbow Sparkle Pony, the only team with guts to double and was able to pull ahead early on. Dave's Not Hear finally chose to double down on Round 6 and was able to get a little closer but fell short into 2nd place. 3rd place went to From First to Last, another team that could have doubled early on.

Favorite answer from the night: Bad Santas for the Annual Santa Bar Crawl.
We had a team join late and change their name for each round, starting with Ramrod, Burt Reynolds, Samsonite, Chingo Bling, Reindeer Games, and finally ending with Catalina Wine Mixer.
The teams had to draw Ugly Christmas Sweaters for the Drinking Round this week, and Melba chose the winners of Chingo Bling (Catalina Wine Mixer) for being funny and clean.
Right before the last round, one team was clearly in the lead and we had three teams tied for 2nd. After Peppermint Patty screwed everyone up, the gap was closed but first place stayed with Box Full of Puppies and Blue Jingle Jangle Balls pulled ahead with one point to claim the 2nd place prize.

It was close for much of the game, but with some of the teams getting impatient on the Guess Who Round, the two teams that waited were able to sneak on by and later tie for first place. Don't Panic was closer to the answer in the tiebreaker, and ended up in First. Dave's Not Hear made it in second.
The Drinking Round this week was fun since the teams learned their lesson from last week. The question was How many islands make up the Philippines, and everyone guessed high, but ultimately Rainbow Sparkle Pony was closest and won the prize.
