QUIZ RECAP

This was one of those games where aggressiveness was rewarded with our top 2 teams attempting to double 3 times & also one of those games with a very difficult round 4 as more than half the teams had an incorrect guess.

Dilldozer started the game off with an impressive recovery. Their sub par 1st round was instantly negated with a successful double. Round 3 didn't do them any favors either, but their excellent 2nd half made up for everything! They come in 3rd, taking the bronze!

Whoa, Smelly Banter jumped into the lead with an incredible 1st half that included 2 successful doubles in a row! They'd lose the lead in the 2nd half, but then admirably went for the win with a double in the final round, which failed. The gap between them & the team trailing was great enough though as they take 2nd, earning the silver!

Ex Partay, newcomers to trivia night at Founder's Ale House, had a magnificent debut game! They started off with a double & then sprinkled in a couple of more for good measure, including an all too important one in round 6 that threw them far into the lead & forced a failed double from their rivals, Whoa, Smelly Banter. Ex Partay earns 1st, debuts as a champion, & takes the gold!

We had a very conservative 1st half with only 3 doubles attempted, but that quickly changed with 5 times as many doubles attempted in the 2nd half. These aggressive tactics created a roller coaster as we got to the end of this very exciting game!

Bed, Bath, & Beyonce had a slow start & seemed to be left in the dust with a failed double in round 3, but they quickly made up for it with a nearly perfect last half with a 10 point round 4 & 2 successful doubles in a row to end the game! This miraculous comeback puts them in 3rd, taking the bronze!

The Meg 2 Big 2 Shark & I Lost My Virginity At... went to battle tonight, locked into a duel at the top of the standings. Their 1st 2 rounds were exactly the same with both teams doubling in the 2nd round. The Meg 2 Big 2 Shark got an edge in the next 2 rounds, scoring 3 more points, & both teams take a chance in round 5 with successful doubles. I Lost My Virginity At... then pulled ahead for the 1st time in the game with a successful double in round 6, but it was short lived as The Meg 2 Big 2 Shark goes for it & it pays off as they bounce back into 1st in the last round with the most important double of the game! I Lost My Virginity fought valiantly, but ultimately lose the duel, taking the silver! The Meg 2 Big 2 Shark take the W & the gold, becoming the champions of the night!

Tonight we had an action packed, high scoring game! & yes, perhaps it did have easier questions than normal, but it ended up making for a very interesting & notable game.

The Spy 2 Dumped Me 2 Furious had an excellent game with 3 doubles in a row to start the game & had another double in round 5. 88 would in most cases be enough to win the game, but tonight was different & The Spy 2 Dumped Me 2 Furious finishes 3rd, taking the bronze!

I Lost My Virginity At... had what may have been the best game they've ever played with a perfect 1st 4 rounds with 3 doubles in a row & another double in round 6! Their perfect round 4 would be the deciding factor as they only take 2nd by 1 point, taking the silver!

House Elf Liberation Front stayed hidden in the middle of the pack with a par performance in round 1, but then had a perfect 5 rounds in a row with 4 doubles. The successful double in round 6 allowed them to snatch the lead & a good score in the last round was enough to secure it! They take the gold & are the champions of the night!
