About K.C. Branaghan's

K.C. Branaghan’s is a true local pub with outstanding food and drinks, served in a warm and friendly environment. Built to re-create a cottage pub, K.C. Branaghan’s has lowered ceilings and dark wood features reminiscent of many of the great pubs of Ireland. The back bar was hand crafted using the finest materials available, and each artifact hanging on the wall was hand picked by the owner himself.

Whether you are looking for a relaxing place to enjoy a few drinks, or you are looking for a great lunch or dinner, we hope you will join us. We feature a full menu with selections ranging from the traditional Irish Fayre, like Fish n’ Chips, Bangers and Mash, and Shepherd’s Pie, to fantastic Salads, Sandwiches and Burgers. Our entrees include Prime Rib, Filet Mignon, Grilled Salmon, Parmesan Encrusted Chicken, Shrimp Scampi, and the most authentic pastas in Long Beach. Some of our signature appetizers include our delicious Sausage Rolls, Spicy Potatoes, and Smoked Salmon. There is something on the menu for everyone.

We pride ourselves on our Draft Beer Selection, specializing in pouring the perfect Pint of Guinness each time. In addition, our lineup boasts other Irish favorites Harp, Smithwick’s, Kilkenny, and Magners. We also feature a large selection of craft beers, Sculpin, Racer 5, and Lagunitas to name a few.

Our full bar boasts a large selection of premium Irish and Scotch whiskeys, including Jameson, Knappogue, Midleton, Paddy, Glenlivet and Glenfiddich. You may also be interested in one of of our original Martinis or shots

Our pub is available for private parties or have us cater your next get together. You can also treat someone special with a Gift Certificate, available in any amount.

We are easily accessible from nearby freeways or an easy walk for our neighbors in Naples and Belmont Shore! Tuesdays' trivia at K.C. Branaghan's is like a wonderful box of chocolates as I never know exactly how many wonderful surprises I will uncover till the end of the night. Ginger had the night off so Maddie was at the helm doing great as always. Kevin, Chef Jose and the crew had the front and back of house covered. We had a bday party in the patio for local Marc in his Titlest golf hat with a fun group of friends to celebrate with cute alphabet donuts from a creative donut shop nearby per the Small Cafe nearby.

Welcome back to the LBC to Ryan and his CSLB mates. Their fun Award wining big group are 3 sets of roommates. I thought they all lived together lives the popular series Friends. One of the roommates said "We could be the Trivia House" which I exclaimed "what a great idea for a Screenplay!"

The Insiders -Troy and Dave participated which was fun. Cool Megadeth T-shirt Dave. The Stalz team of local parents Bill & Becky were entertaining their visiting daughter Alison from Chicago. The Texas Donghorns were a pair of new transplant friends to Southern Cal from Nor Cal. We hope this becomes your favourite local pub. Toaster Strudel was a small team aka bar team with the the road-trip gals. We learned tonight about octopus, mollusks, Ivy League Colleges, and various other topics. Next week is May so bring your favourite Moms, aunties, sisters, cousins and friends.

The Easter bunny has left the holiday season but we are still hopping about having fun by the beach!! Congratulations to the Brockin' dynamic duo who decided to stay and play then WIN!!! They are fans of King Trivia for Thursdays but they sure had a good time this Tuesday!!

Lorena was a patient Momma waiting for her rowing team son to arrive then our Domnation trivia player stopped by for the lightning recap rounds after show with Troy and Dave who will finally play trivia with us for the next two weeks. 

We had Ken training to check out the behind the scenes details and juggling by trivia quizmasters. Ken is a 20 years public speaker and he has several podcasts. His wife Peggy played trivia for the first time in awhile and she did well. 

Welcome to MVPs to our trivia fun. It was fun having a revolving door of trivia teams with those who could only stay for a bit. It was a pleasure to meet the visiting Irish ☘️ couple who have made KC. Branaghan's their home away from home vacation pub as they were in town for the sad sudden event of their departed family member, Monsignor from Our Lady of Refuge Church. Our condolences. An Irish pub is a comfort refugee for many occasions.

Another groovy Tuesday at K.C. Branaghan's with entertaining trivia with the locals and visitors!!! Every time I enter a venue, it is a combination of returning teams and inspiring new teams to be born. I am the midwife of trivia birthing new trivia babies! Or like a quizmaster stripper with clothes on enticing to get participation...ok,maybe that was a g-string stretch but the players liked that quick thought on Tuesday. 💃🏽

We were all enjoying the answer times for each round as I call out to teams with the right answer to respond. The wrong answers get equal time on the mics as we all laugh at the well intended near misses which are sometimes poetic. 

The new trivia challenges covered art on characters, literature, British poet laureates, Marvel Comics, LED and more. 

Stick around to the end of the night when I do a lightening round with some locals at the bar who missed the game but still show up for the highlights. Thanks to the great staff of owner Ryan, Ginger, Maddie, Kevin, Jose and Philippe. 
May is Mother's Day on May 8th so bring your favourite gal -Mom, sisters, wives, girlfriends even Grannies to our King Trivia nights. Toasty Strudel brought Mom and Dad plus A Wee Bit Irish brought Mom. Slainte!
