We had another fantastic game of King Trivia tonight with 15 teams coming out to compete to see who would go home the King Trivia champs, a $40 OB's gift card, AND bragging rights that they were the most smartest. "Student Debt Ceiling" started out the game strong grabbing 8 points in Round 1. "Covid-Eileen," "Corona Light," and "RIP Bill Paxton" all DOUBLED their scores in Round 2 when they answered ALL their answers correctly and marked their Double or Nothing box! "Pussy Over Coronavirus" won the Chili Cheese Fry Round. "Co-Vid Eileen" received a perfect score in Round 5. We had a few teams try to double their scores in Round 6 to see if they could snag some major points to take the lead, unfortunately they did not answer all their answers correctly and busted receiving a big fat "0" for the round. But gotta give em credit for trying. "Just Another Wednesday" doubled their score in Round 7. They were they only team to do so allowing them to jump up 20 points. But in the end, "Corona Light" came in SECOND place receiving a $20 OB's gift card. "RIP Bill Paxton" came in FIRST place with an incredible score of 79 points AND the $40 OB's gift card. We had another incredible game of King Trivia tonight at everyone's favorite Manhattan Beach local bar, OB's. 8 teams competed for first place and bragging rights to say that they were the most smartest! "Bud Lightyear" and "Wallets of El Segundo" started the evening strong with each team grabbing 7 points in Round 11. Round 2 ended with "Pussy Over Pancakes," "Jimmy and the MILFs," "This Is Not My Boyfriend," and "Gary" all snagging 6 points. "Wallets," "Pancakes," Jimmy," all guessed our Guess Who Round on the 6 point clue! By the end of Round 5, "Wallets" and "Pancakes" were tied with 28 points BUT "Boyfriend" was ahead by just one point with 29 points. BUT "OB Have" DOUBLED their points answering ALL the questions correctly and marking the Double or Nothing box on their answer sheet with an "x!" They jumped ahead of the pack with 33 points!! "Juicy Fruit" received a perfect score in Round 6 matching ALL the answers correctly grabbing 10 points. They did not, however, mark their DOUBLE or NOTHING box. The game ended with "This Is Not My Boyfriend" in SECOND place winning a $20 OB's gift card! "OB Have" maintained their lead after their big score in Round 5 ending the evening in FIRST place and a $40 OB's gift card! We had 12 teams come out to compete at OB'a tonight to see who would end the night as the King Trivia champs. "R.I.P. Bill Paxton," "Bud Lightyear," and "Jesse Can't Wait" all scored a perfect score in Round 1 AND they doubled their points because they put an "x" in the Double or Nothing" box AND they are all registered at KingTrivia.com which allowed them to snag 2 additional points sending all three teams to a three-way tie with the most amount of points possible at the end of the round with 14 each. "Go Fox Yourself" marked their box as well but they didn't answer ALL the questions correctly ending up with "0" for the round. But that's ok because "Fox" won the Chili Cheese Fry Round when they guessed the exact year "The Flinstones" first aired! "We Back Bitches" answered the most questions correctly in Round 2, our picture round, scoring 7 out of 8 points. "Bud," "Jesse," Kids Who Can't Read Good," and "Bitches" all answered our Guess Who Round on the 10 point clue. "Student Debt" doubled their scores on Rounds 5, 6, and 7 ending the evening in FIRST place with 84 points and a $40 gift card for their next OB's visit. "Bud Lightyear" came in SECOND place with 80 points and a $20 gift card towards their next OB's visit. Thanks to Bonnie and the gang for their exceptional service! I look forward to next time!!
