QUIZ RECAP

What a blast of a Wednesday night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills on Wednesday night! We saw some cup stacking, and we had some winners of some gift certificates!

For the Drinking Round, teams sent up one of their members to play. That person has to stack cups in a pyramid with 5 cups on the bottom row. Once stacked all the way up, each team had to put them all back into one stack to stop the clock! It was a blast! Check out the pictures!

Tree People won the 3rd place prize, a $10 gift certificate! Way to go!

Coming in second and scoring the $20 gift card, was always stellar, Hanky Panky! They scored 58 points!

Then, scoring 69 points, winning first place and the $30 gift certificate, was team Burnt Toast! Now they have a gift card for some food when they burn their toast next time!

QUIZ RECAP

We had another great time on Wednesday night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia! It was a smaller group, so more intimate than normal, but we all had a blast!

For the Drinking Round, Quizmaster Danny played 8-bit versions of popular songs and teams had to guess the name of the artist and the name of the song. Each correct guess for artist and song was worth one point each and whoever scored the most points won the drinking round and a round of shots for their team! We ended up with a tie of 16 correct guesses each between the Headscratchers and Tree People, so Danny had to invoke the one song sudden death tiebreaker. He played one more sone and whoever buzzed in first with the correct answer would win! Headscratchers buzzed in first with the correct name of the artist and song to win the shots! Way to go! There's a photo of the songs played up above. 

And speaking of the Headscratchers, they also took 2nd place scoring a whopping 43 points to take home the $20 gift certificate prize! That's how you do a King Trivia night right there!

Coming in 1st place, scoring 48 points, was team Incomparable Debbie Alan! They led most of the night and was able to fend off three other teams who were close in points heading into the final round. They ended up winning the $30 gift certificate! Not a bad night if I do say so myself!
