It was It Takes 3 out in the lead early and they kept it for the whole game. There was no stopping them. Pour me another had a strong place finish. And to no one's surprise but theirs, it was T&C with the third place show finish. The good folks at TGI Friday's provided the great food and drink while everyone had a fun time!

What a fun, busy night for trivia -- I'm glad my sound system was working this time!

Everyone struggled with their volcano, Frankie Valli, and Broadway Tony knowledge, but all did pretty well on their random tidbits of knowledge, body parts, and Coca-Cola stats. It's My Thyroid (surrrre it is) took home $10 in TGIF money, Yum Yum Fun Time (you bet it is!) took home $20 in TGIF money, and Lieutenant Dan's Legs (I might not be a smart man, but I know what love is!) reigned supreme with $30 in TGIF gift cards and all the bragging rights in the world.

Shout out to Happy Hour Heroes for winning tonight's free appetizer! All they had to do was name the most puppies from "101 Dalmations" -- or in this case, more than one puppy. Wasn't the easiest free appetizer round, but I was still feeling the inspiration from being stuck in a densely populated pet-friendly apartment complex on the 4th of July!

TGI Fridays' gift card system was on the fritz, and your Quizmaster had no use of her equipment, but THE TRIVIA MUST GO ON!

It Takes 2 emerged victorious tonight, but they had to work a little harder than they usually do to claim that victory. Lieutenant Dan-Less had double the brain power, and they only ended up four points behind them at the end of the night. Phew! Savages took home the bronze, but kudos to them for excelling at their Hunter S. Thompson/Old Testament books/Saturday Night Live/FIFA World Cup knowledge! If we were playing by golf rules, The FMLs would have destroyed everyone -- but they had a lot of fun nonetheless.

No gift cards tonight, but several of our teams got to take home free appetizer coupons, and let's face it -- TGI Fridays appetizers trump all other restaurants' at the Cerritos Towne Center!

I can't thank everyone enough for their patience as I had to walk around from table to table -- the fun I had with you all regardless was totally worth my mouth being drier than the Sahara at the end of the night!
