DaNile Dominates!
Once again, DaNile dominated, but not without a fight! The Kids R. Kelly Peed On actually had the lead through round 4, but successful doubles of rounds 5 & 6 put DaNile back into the familiar role of leader for the night! A Team Has No Name was also able to double round 5, giving them the edge to take 3rd place! What's A Diatom? won an epic battle of Hi-Lo for the free pints round! Great Minds Drink Alike took 4th place, which one them a picture on this blog! 😉

After a week off from the top spot, DaNile returned to claim their position as No 1.
Butt not far behind (see what I did there?) was CharDeeMcDennis and their plastic mannequin lower half landing in second place.
And also landing in the top 3 was Great Minds Drink Alike.
Kudos to Vulture's Crotch for having the best picnic setup, to Team FOMO for putting up a good fight during the drinking round challenge, and finally to Eggplant who DID win the drinking round challenge by successfully Naming That TV Show Tune!

Persistence Pays Off!
TriviAmigos have been regulars at Dudes' for quite some time. I have watched their enthusiasm as they got better and better at the game, moving up in the final rankings. They would come up to me at the end of the game to take note of how many teams they were behind, and got excited when they improved from weeks before. And rightfully so! We have some very talented and smart teams at Dudes', the competition is very tough! Tonight it finally happened for them. All but one of the rounds were in their wheelhouse. There was just one problem...Quiz Daddy & The Trivia Boiz! It happened to be their night as well. Tied after round 2, Quiz Daddy slipped a little by not doubling round 3, and taking a hit in round 6. Going into round 7, TriviAmigos was up by 12 points and seemed to have the trophy in their grasp. The final question was about the Happiest Place On Earth. Disneyland! Name all 9 "Lands" located at Disneland CA. Quiz Daddy correctly doubled, TriviAmigos did not! Didn't matter though, as TrivAmigos was still able to win by 3 points!!!! They did it! First win for them, and Dudes' became the Happiest Place On Earth. The other teams actually cheered for them. It was an awesome moment. Congratulations, I'm sure this will be the first of many!
Meanwhile, Shelby & The Heartbreakers quietly played steady throughout the night and secured 3rd place by one point over powerhouse We Suck At Trivia. DaNile knew the obscure movie quotes and won the 4 free pints!
