The Trivial Pursuers chased it, caught it and beat it into submission this week at The Federal in NoHo. And, of course, the "it" in question is trivia superiority, which they demonstrated by scoring an impressive 80 points to win the night.

The Spotted Richards didn't make it easy for 'em, coming in just five points off the lead with 75. The Duffmen rounded out our top three finishers with 73.

One thing this quizmaster really enjoys is when folks who are unfamiliar with the King Trivia approach to quizzing happen upon us, quickly catch on to what's what, and opt to join in the fun.

Such was the case with Dieglee and Jeff's Organ last night, who both showed up mid-game and jumped right in for the final three rounds. Their 24 and 18 point totals suggest they have what it takes to become trivia titans, and we hope you'll join us for a FULL slate of trivia excitement next time!

I want to thank quizmaster extraordinaire Kellie for taking a night off, which gave this guy an opportunity to meet some terrific people! Thanks for making me feel so welcome. And yes, yes! Kellie will be back next week. You should make plans to spend the evening with her!

We had a confident bunch of teams tonight, they took risks and it paid off for some and hurt others.

Elefino started out the night with a perfect double down but they, along with three other of the teams didn't guess David Lynch during the Guess Who round so lost points.

Tonight's drinking round was my personal favorite, the paper airplane contest. Bridesmaids, the winners of this evening were the first team ever to successfully get their airplane in the target box. It was amazing so congrats to them!

The round six handout had teams identifying Disney movies by the actors in them and tonight the teams turned it out with 4 teams doubling down and getting them all right. It was magical.

Elefino took the gold home at the end of a lively and well played night.

Also, my phone broke during the night's events so I apologize for the lack of photos.
