QUIZ RECAP

An exciting game of King Trivia at the Whiskey Lounge tonight! Mad Trivia Addicts and Drinks + Gummies both started strong with two successful double-or-nothings in rounds 2 and 3, ending the third round in an impressive 36-point tie. Mad Trivia Addicts barely pulled ahead in round 4, and in round 5 Pettifoggers snuck up from behind with a successful double and made it a three-way tossup!

Round 6 sealed everyone's fate, with Drinks + Gummies being the only team to double-or-nothing -- they took a solid lead and couldn't be caught going into the final round! A valiant effort by Glutton for Funishment, who fell short after a couple of courageous double-downs that almost brought them into contention. Thanks to everyone for playing!

QUIZ RECAP

A chess match for the ages! Quizmaster Dan was lucky enough to serve some of the finest people DTLA has to offer for our weekly Monday Night Trivia game. The questions were flying, the drinks were flowing, the seahawks and the '9ers were duking it out; life was good! The Veteran's day bonanza (name coined by Daniel; imminently awaiting trademark) was an event for the ages!

A close fought battle by our two teams, Time in the Clink and Revenge game, saw the competition get extremely spicy. Our theme round 5 "Find the Connection" saw our teams struggle at the worst time! But, alas, our champions fought valiantly, and as such, will both be going to home with 30 and 20 dollars to The Whiskey Lounge.

Such excitement is extremely palpable! Come join us every Monday at the Whiskey Lounge.

QUIZ RECAP

5 terrific teams came ready to compete at The Whiskey Lounge for our weekly Monday Night Trivia showdown, hosted by yours truly, Quizmaster Dan. An especially large turnout, we were also joined by the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants (and one chonky kitty that took to the field for what seemed like hours). Which of our five teams would climb to the top? Would the reigning champion Dan's Fan's keep their title? Let's find out!

A quick double down in the first round by Chaddie's Baddie (who were, as I hear it, playing with house money since Dan's Monday Night Trivia was previously unknown to them!) while Don't Call it a Comeback, under the guise of "working late" were late to the party, and accidentally missed our first round! Would it indeed be a comeback? Through our rounds, a couple of heinous double downs saw several of our teams take one step forward and two steps back. But, with a round 6 double down, the Boozecats jumped from last place to second place with a 20 point swing! It came down to the last round for our second place (and a $20 gift card to the Whiskey Lounge) to be decided, but unfortunately, Hell Yaaaaaasssss just couldn't perfect their lifesaver flavor knowledge, and fell to third place. Congrats to Dan's Fans for an excellent first place finish (and a $30 gift card).

Special thanks for all teams that decided to join us on this special Monday night! A great time was had by all, and the wonderful staff at the Whiskey Lounge had all of our patrons feeling happy and healthy. Join us next time for some trivia, Monday Night Football, and, of course, the infamous jello-shot drinking round.
