Yes, I know.

It's that time of the year again.

You yelled, you pleaded, you stamped your feet - but unfortunately, no, I will not be able to fly back from the East Coast every Wednesday to host trivia.

It's okay.  It's only 2 months.  In actuality, it's like 9 Wednesdays.  Not a big deal.  You can do this.  And just think, I'll be missing you as much as you profess to missing me.

Be nice to your sub.  You can gently let them know how things are done if they seem to be a bit confused but go easy on them.  Sure, haze them a little bit and question them on whether the Amazon is truly longer than the Nile River.  Demand to see the color version of the handout round.  Bring back two pens and ask why you can't get four points.  Remind them loudly that this is not Open Mic night.  Start tapping your watch fervently if they go past 11.  And yes, it's okay if you "accidentally" refer to them as Pretend Chris even after they've just announced their name.

I even hand selected a "Name the Brad Pitt movie" picture round tonight just in the event that Brad Pitt chose to show up.
