Brewyard Beer Co. is a new Craft Brewery & Taproom in Glendale, CA. We specialize in Californian "Aled" Lagers. The most well known of this hybrid style is the California Common (A.K.A Steam Beer). We offer 8 of these hybrid beers currently: Soul Cal (California Common), Imposter Syndrome (India Pale Ale'd Lager), Black Sunrise (Black Ale'd Lager), The Smoking Redhead (Smoked Irish Red Ale'd Lager), Sunday Morning (Pale Ale'd Lager), Sunday Morning Joe (Ethiopia Yirgecheffe Coffee infused Pale Ale'd Lager) & Perky DIPL (Double India Pale Ale'd Lager). We also have a very popular Saison brewed with Passion Fruit, A Basil Belgian Single and a Belgian Dubbel.

It was beautiful. It was glorious. It made us all glad to be alive!

I am speaking, of course, about the perfect summer sunset that we all enjoyed on the patio at Brewyard Beer Company in Burbank. I mean, c'mon! The soft breezes. The delightful shirt-sleeves-and-shorts air temps. And, of course, the pinks and blues in endless hues as the sky darkens at sunset. Sublime! 
It doesn't get any better than that, right?

Of COURSE it does, when the trivia competition gets intense, as it did this week when There's No M in Tim held off a formidable charge from Gummi Bearz to win the night. It was great!

Those fine-looking folks in photo #1 above are The Moops, who rode a wave of successful double-or-nothing attempts to victory this week at the Brewyard Beer Company in Burbank.

It wasn't easy. Team Yes We Have to Take a Selfie paused their posing long enough to rack up 65 points, good enough for second place, despite calling the Moops the Poops - which I think we can all agree is just plain rude. And funny. 

Best of all, it was a lovely summery night on the Brewyard patio, with warm breezes bring the delectable aroma of carne asada from the the grill and delicious beer being consumed by happy, happy trivia players.

We'll be back next week, as will the carne asada, beer and Poops. Come join us!
