About Butcher's Dog

We have 10 large HDTVs and show up to 5 different events on them (we love sports and hope you join us for all the great sports events coming up: UFC, NBA, NHL, Formula 1 Grand Prix, Rugby Word Cup, NASCAR races, Champions League, MLB World Series, etc.).

We have a beautiful patio with space heaters.

We pour great beers and wines, with 18 beers on tap, as well as crafted cocktails.

We have a great Happy Hour menu daily from 3pm to 7pm and ALL NIGHT on Mondays.

During these times $4 & $5  draft beers, $6 house cocktails, $4 well drinks and our selected house wines are $6 a glass.

Competition was fierce this week at Butcher's Dog as two previous winners went head-to-head for a quizzy victory!  Roger Moore Moore Moore held the lead for most of the game, but gave it up at one point when they didn't try to double up on round 5, ceding the lead to No Pantalones Party but in the end they pulled it back for a 1st place win, relegating Pantalones to second.

As for yours truly, quizmaster Travis Richey, I feel like I win every week getting to host and eat at Butcher's Dog. I think I have landed on my "usual".  The Butchers Dog Hamburger with truffle oil french fries, and a chicken caesar salad.  OMG, so yum.

Another big night of trivia as Butcher's Dog becomes the go-to place for brain-tickling on the West Side on Tuesdays!

We started a little late because of the sportball game on TV, but once we got going, it was a fierce competition for a tough quiz!  Scores were all over the place and the lead changed hands many times, but in the end, a successful round 6 Double-or-Nothing took No Pants Party into the top spot and they kept it to the end to win themselves a $50 weekend brunch gift certificate and the right to choose next week's music playlist!

Second place was won by Lez B. Frands, who took their very first win, snagging a $25 gift certificate for weekend brunch!  They told me that they only didn't win first because they were going to be out of town next week and couldn't choose the music... And I believe them.

As for yours truly, Quizmaster Travis Richey, I think I found my regular meal.  The tasty Butcher's Dog hamburger and a Chicken Caesar Salad! Yum!!

Woo!  A record turnout for trivia tonight at Butcher's Dog!  14 teams battled for supremacy and the title of Top Dog for this week's quiz.  And what a quiz it was!  With the majority of teams scoring in the 30s, you know it's a big deal when our first place team, a group of newcomers who while away their days being lawyers ended up with 73 points and the win and a $50 gift certificate to the restaurant's wonderful weekend brunch!

Lone wolf Off in the Woods snagged himself a second place, which was good for a $25 gift certificate, and the admiration of the rest of the venue.

No team went away empty handed, though, as everyone who plays King Trivia at Butcher's Dog on Tuesdays get's a huge 20% discount on their tab!!

Quizmaster Travis Richey's meal tonight: Chicken Caesar Salad and Dry Rub wings.  Yum!
