King Trivia had a raucous audience full to the brim that is not done justice by the pictures I took once I disconnected my phone from playing music.

We had a banging 11 trivia teams come out tonight and duel in a battle of the wits for free drinks and coupons at Rocco's. Of the 11 teams who entered, 9 would finish and 3 would place in the annals of trivia history.

Our first place winner was registered team Frisky Kitties with 67 points. In second was Hang Dang with 56 points. And dethroned for the first time in a while is Area 51 who finished 3rd with 46 points. I have more pictures of them in my phone than I do my girlfriend.

It was a fun time with good people and lots of laughs at Rocco's in Culver City on Mondays for King Trivia. We're here weekly so come check us out at 9 pm.

King Trivia at Rocco's in Culver City continues to be a smashing success and this week was no different.

We started out with 6 teams and only lost one along the way. Which if you've ever played the Oregon trail or trivia, you know it's pretty good.

Our resident first place winner was Area 51 unfazed by a mid first round entry they shot out early with a hard-hitting double or nothing round and it was smooth sailing for them from there on out. They finished with 58.

The race for second was won by a team called Sosa with 32 points. Third place was as close as I've ever seen it. It came down to a runoff between Brazilians and Double Shots with the Brazilians emerging victorious at 31 points. It came down to the pens.

King Trivia at Rocco's proves to be a hotbed of trivia action week after week and this week was no different. As I wait for my food to cool allow me to recap this weeks trivia results.

We had a solid 6 teams playing and boy was it packed and rowdy.

First place went to mad facts fury road with 55 points. In second our seasoned vets on Area 51 with 50 points and bringing up the rear in third place was a dude who decided to make trivia political again, MAGA with 49 points.

Aside from having to say maga into a microphone all night, I'd say it went pretty well. I'm a proponent of free speech and a professional trivia host so I put my conscience aside and announced a fair and clean game with no help from any Russians.
