QUIZ RECAP

Double-or-nothing night at The Fountainhead! A full house tonight, with most of the old gang and some eager newcomers rarin' to go... The Drs and convention-goers 5 Star started us off, doubling right out of the gate, with The Drs landing it and the newcomers missing by one... This inspired the rest of the fleet to spring into action in Round 2, with four other teams successfully doubling to even out the field!

Round 5 ended up being the deciding round, a ten-question round with four more attempts - and only one success... Ask My Balls, on a four-week tear!

While it could have been anyone's game at this point, the confidence in the room was decidedly lacking in the final two rounds (except for a successful ten-point double in Round 6 from our resident sports bible, Tom Brady Plays Football for My Sins, putting him in contention), leaving Ask My Balls with a ten-point lead... and an exquisitely close set of runners-up: 2. Ladies & The Tramps (57) 3. Automating America! (56) and 4. University Club (55)!

We welcome University Club, who persevered without a single double attempt, and just missed the top three by a hair! A team to be reckoned with should they become regulars! (And a shout-out to team Object Permanence, who will one day hopefully be able to join us for a full game!)

QUIZ RECAP

Anybody's game tonight! After Round 1, we had 4 teams in a 4-way tie at 4 points apiece! Round 2 brought us 2 new teams with Object Permanence and Noise Boys (who left after Round 3, grateful for a bit of trivia diversion), and Round 3, our first successful double from Automating America!

Things were steady then, until Round 6 and BAM! - 3 successful doubles from old stalwarts Ask My Balls, The Drs Are In and Automating... First-timers Aunt Becky Got Me Into College (ha!) were oh-so-close with a 9/10 double attempt!

In the end, Ask My Balls took the ring with a solid but conservative 10/10 in Round 7 - and there was a nice 1st-2nd-3rd showing from our registered teams! A good, competitive night of trivia!

Absolutely savage trivia ln Tuesday night as 8 teams came in weapons hot and ready to quiz. Ask My Balls is back to championship form, fending off late challenges from the engineers of Automating America and the Tolkien nerds of The Drs Are In, while new-ish teams played very strong first and second games!
