New year, new trivia! Seven teams braved a damp San Jose evening to duke it out for trivia supremecy. There were no easy rounds in this game, with killer questions blowing attempted double or nothing left and right. In fact, this marks the first time in a long time that no team successfully doubled up on a round. They didn't give up though, with veteran teams taking top honors. Ask My Balls brought home the gold again, with the Black Mambas taking silver and The Doctors Are In taking bronze. No one resolved to give up trivia this year so it's going to be a fun 2019 at The Fountainhead!

A very festive trivia to close out 2018. It looked like we wouldn't have enough teams to get started on time, but in a holiday Miracle, everyone showed up all at once and we were on our way. It was a spirited match, with several late double or nothing pushes but perennial champions Ask My Balls take it again, winning first place and the traditional figgy pudding.

How many Ph.D.s does it take to dominate trivia? As it turns out, five. After weeks of taking a bad bounce in late rounds, The Drs. Are In turned in a command performance and aced their trivia final. There was some jockeying for the lead in some early rounds, with three lead changes, but once the learned ladies (and gent) of San Jose State got a hold of first place, they didn't let it go, finding the connection in round 5 almost immediately and doubling up. It was no small feat defeating past champions Ask My Balls, and Ladies & the Tramps, but the Doctors have officially established themselves as trivia royalty, and look to be a force to be reckoned with if they can keep this momentum alive.
