Da bears were back after a week hiatus and dominated the evening. After being tied for first for a couple of rounds, they pulled ahead and came out victorious. They also won the drinking round, which was name as many actors in Grease (this being the day that Grease premiered in 1978). This marked the end of Purple Monkey Dishwasher's two week winning streak

Pasadena Peeps took second, with a new team, Go Joe!, rounding up the leaderboard at third place.

We had to pause the game for a bit while the NBA Finals concluded--Toronto must be happy.

Nice to hear "we missed you" from multiple teams after a week off. With Da Bears noticeably missing (first I've seen of it- thank you for the team name the week prior!), we had nine teams battle it out this evening. We even had a couple of employees join us for a few rounds halfway through.

This was probably my most favorite video round ever (Rick and Morty Interdimensional Cable ftw).

In honor of the 75th anniversary of D-Day on this day, I had them name the five beach code names in Normandy. Three teams knew what was up but it was Twinkie Time that prevailed with the tiebreaker.

In the end, it was Purple Monkey Dishwasher with a big double near end of game that took home first place, with Pasadena Peeps and Second Cousins (welcome back) rounding out the leader board.

Wow - what a blast guest hosting at Barney's in Pasadena. Super group of people. Lots of regulars and a few newcomers, it was great meeting everyone during the evening.

The game was close for a LOT of the teams all the way thru till the end.

Purple Monkey Dishwasher bring in the first prize. Second went to Where Did Carlos Go? - aka Da Bears and third went to PhilosoRaptors- a group of 4 teachers celebrating only one more day of school before summer break!

The drinking round was 'Sticks and stones may break my bones, but Donald Trump's nicknames will never hurt me' - in which the teams had to provide Donald Trump's favorite nicknames for 10 individuals. Purple Monkey Dishwasher won the round with 6 correct answers but gave the pitcher of beer to the last place team - Girls Night Out.

Barney's in Pasadena is a great place to come out and play trivia. Hope to be back again soon.
