FIRST of all, it was a night of trivia FIRSTs at DiPiazza's. Congrats Team Get in the Van on winning FIRST place! It was their FIRST FIRST place finish at DiPiazza's. All it took to win was a successful double in the last round (Music Round:  Songs of Summer). Get in the Van finished with 80 points and won $210 for FIRST place. Second of all, we had a tie for second place between the All Night Rockers (all songs correct, successful double) and Counter Intelligence (all songs correct, no double). Their tiebreaker answers were separated by only one percentage point (1%) with the All Night Rocker's guess one percentage point (1%) closer for 2nd place ($50). Counter Intelligence had the lead going into the last round, but had to settle for 3rd place (Free Drinks). They can blame me for having too many bonus artists (won't happen again). And in last/not least place, No Free Pizza won, you guessed it, a free pizza.

Congrats All Night Rockers (again) on winning 1st place (again)! Despite missing a couple regular players, the Rockers were still on top of their trivia game. The final score was thisclose, and by thisclose, I mean one point separated our top two teams. All Night Rockers took the lead in Round 3's "River Phoenix" and held on for a 70-69 win over The Karens (also missing a couple regular players). All Night Rockers won $145 for 1st and The Karens took $50 for 2nd place. Counter Intelligence (also missing a couple regular players) came in 3rd place with 66 points and won Free Drinks. And in last/not least place, the Brain Champions (first time playing at DiPiazza's) won a Free Pizza.

"I...wanna rock 'n roll all night, and trivia everyday..." Congrats All Night Rockers on winning 1st place! They took the lead in Round 2 with a successful double and never looked back. All Night Rockers finished with 77 points and won $140. We went to a tiebreaker for 2nd place between Team Amigos and Counter Intelligence. The Amigos won the tiebreaker, scored sixty-niiiiine points, and won $50 for 2nd place. Counter Intelligence settled for 3rd place and won Free Drinks. And in last/not least place, the Mother Fs won a Free Pizza by scoring a lucky #13 points.
