Tonight's winning team was missing a few players, but they still won trivia "like a boss." Congrats Boss Ladies on winning 1st place! They won with a successful double in Round 5 and finished with 50 points for the win. Yes, the winning score was an unusally-low 50 points with some toughhh questions. There was also a tie for 2nd place between Uncivil Servants and Get In The Van. The tiebreaker answers were superrr close and I had to actually use a calculator to determine the difference. After a few minor/major calculations, Uncivil Servants won the tiebreaker and took 2nd place ($50). This was also their first time placing in the Top 3. Team Get In The Van settled for 3rd place and won Free Drinks (which is sorta kinda like a 1st place prize). And in last/not least place, We The People won a Free Pizza.

Tonight's trivia was thisclose and ended with a walk-off successful double! And by thisclose, I mean the top two teams were only seprated by one point. Congrats All Night Rockers on winning 1st place! They really know their music from 1979 and scored a successful double in Round 7 (Music Round). All Night Rockers scored 78 points and won $260. Team Mother F's had a few successful doubles, scored 9/10 in the last round, and came thisclose to winning. They finished in 2nd place (77 points) and won $50. Counter Intelligence took 3rd with 67 points and won Free Drinks. And in last/not least place, Rude Boy Redemption (29 points) won a Free Pizza. We'd also like to wish Denise from Bub's Fight Club a Happy Birthday. Thanks for sharing your bday with us at DiPiazza's! I hopeee your team listens to your Mom more next time.
