QUIZ RECAP

With the food and drink at Edna Vees, everyone's always a winner. But with the addition of King Trivia, we're all more better winnerers! Yeah! And I invented a word!

Six teams ready to have fun and engage in friendly competition! Round One was fairly chill, with scores between 3-7. That all changed by Round Two, where three teams used Doubles successfully. Another Double in Round Three by yet another team, and one team getting a perfect 10 for Round 5.

It went on and on like that, all the way to the final round, where only ten points separated all our teams. But a big congrats to the Montana Girls, hootin' and hollerin' their way to a 1st place win!

QUIZ RECAP

Happy New Year to all the players at Edna Vees! We had the hardcore players with us tonight-- the truly dedicated triviaheads, ready to start the decade right!

I predicted that, with the questions tonight, we were going to have a lot of Doubles used... and we did (I will try not to hurt myself patting myself on the back). We had a total of eight Doubles used-- most successful (and one that was not).

In the end, Mischief Managed played a great game. They didn't lead after Round One, but thereafter, used three Doubles successfully. Even though one Double wasn't successful, they still ended with a 10-point lead over the next closest team. Well done!

A great start to the new decade, but let's just worry about one year at a time. Happy 2020, and we'll see you next week!

QUIZ RECAP

'Twas the night AFTER Christmas, and all through the house.... Not a creature was stirring, because it was STANDING ROOM ONLY, and you couldn't even hear them if they had been!

What a great, competitive, and crazy house full of trivia players we had at Edna Vees tonight! Fifteen (count 'em!) teams ready to get their game on.. and boy, did they!

Teams shuffled in the standings, and many of our teams had a mixed bag of results. Some highlights include...

• Four teams Doubled right on the very first round!
• We had at least two teams fail on their Double attempts in subsequent rounds
• Five teams got a -1 point on the Guess Who Round
• Our 3rd Place team had a couple of teams only a point or two behind

Thank you for coming out for the last King Trivia for 2019. As Edna Vees is closed on Jan. 2, we'll be back in two weeks, on Jan. 9, to post up the first points for 2020 and the new decade.
