About Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom

Hop Merchants Bottle Shop & Taproom is a craft beer bottle shop and tasting room. We offer 16 rotating taps of Los Angeles-area beer as well as a wide variety of bottles and cans from your favorite independent breweries, which you can purchase to go or to enjoy in-house (with $1.50 corkage).  We also have an open food policy, meaning outside food is welcome and delivery is even encouraged. It's all good!

Located in the NoHo Arts District of North Hollywood, California, our mission is to channel our passion for great beer, community, and create a fun, chill atmosphere for people to hang, drink, shop and debate the deeper mysteries of life...such as who would win in a fistfight between Batman and Captain America? What's the difference between partly cloudy and partly sunny?  If the Zombie Apocalypse started today, what would be your weapon of choice?  Why are there no such thing as B batteries?  If humans evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?

Trivia question: where's the best place in North Hollywood to celebrate the middle of the week? That would be at Hop Merchants Bottle Shop and Tap Room during our weekly King Trivia night! Nineteen teams tested their knowledge of Dr. Seuss characters, geography, and prestige comedy television over seven rounds of bar trivia for a chance to win gift certificates at Hop Merchants. In our nail-biting finale, team Mubble Fubbles nabbed third place at 50 points, scoring a $5 gift card, while Hey Mommy! pulled into second place and went home with a $10 gift card. But strategy reigned supreme this evening when Camp Mohawk expertly leveraged Double or Nothing, surging into first place by our penultimate round, cinching the lead, and ultimately winning a $20 gift card! There's no better place to test your trivia knowledge, meet new people, and share laughs over drinks than during King Trivia at Hop Merchants Bottle Shop and Tap Room--and, lucky for you, we're there every Wednesday night at 8PM!
