QUIZ RECAP

What a fun night we had! Despite some rough early-mid rounds, the High School Dropouts managed to secure 1st place, once again.

But after them, the real battle for 2nd and 3rd was heating up, eventually leading to a tie-breaker between two newcomers: the PokeTeam and The Mercedes Team. Despite the admirable effort from the Mercedes Team, who had members hailing from both Russia and Dubai, the PokeTeam managed to win the tie-breaker round to secure 2nd place.

The highly creative returning team (with a new name) We Love Cheers! was very closely behind them, just a few points shy, proving how important one or two rounds can be in making a difference. While Ran-Cel was our 5th place team for the night, they clearly still had a good set of fun.

Speaking of fun, come join next Wednesday at 7pm, which the High School Dropouts have guaranteed to be a fun night! Just look at how much fun everyone's having in the pictures (spoiler: I'm even in one of them!).

QUIZ RECAP

Tonight was a special night, as we celebrated the birthday of the one and only Stephanie! King Trivia is a great way to celebrate with friends, for which Stephanie aptly brought them along to form the team Stephanie's Friends! They clearly had some of the most fun of the night, though a good time was had by all (don't worry, I didn't force everyone to sing "Happy Birthday").

In addition to them, we had a number of returning teams this evening. High School Dropouts had a successful comeback from last week's game, earning 1st place! The most creative team of last week (Please Give Us Money), now known as We Don't Call 911... were just shy of getting 3rd for the second week, ending the night in 4th. Quizzards, going by Dublin or Nothing this evening, had a successful return for 3rd place instead.

Finishing in 2nd place was the seemingly new team of Parents Night Out, who achieved it with a baby on their team! Now that's some teamwork and intelligence. They proved it's both never too late and never too early to start playing King Trivia.

QUIZ RECAP

It was once again a very fun night at the Snoqualmie Brewery and Taproom! Kind of a Big Drumstick took an early lead thanks to the two bonus points in the first round for including their team number on the submission slip (subtle reminder to sign up!). One point behind them was Maui Bound, who would trail them neck and neck until they were tied going into the final round. The competition was so heated, Maui Bound even jokingly changed their name as a subtle sly, but it wasn't enough as Kind of a Big Drumstick had a near-perfect final round to finish in 1st place!

The competition between the other two teams, Please Give Us Money and the High School Dropouts was maybe the most entertaining portion of the night. Please Give Us Money had some rough early rounds, but kept their spirits high with their constantly changing names between rounds:

1. Please Give Us Money
2. Seriously, We Are So Poor
3. Even Just a Little Bit Will Go So Far
4. High School Graduates (Employ Us)
5. Give Us Maui Bounds Points, Please
6. Will Work For Points
7. We Just Wanted the Gift Card

And they indeed earned it, by managing to have some strong final three rounds! It also helped that the High School Dropouts, their main competition, went big with TWO Double-Or-Nothing attempts in the last two rounds, and while they were valiantly close, they fell short both times. You can see in their photo how clearly upset they are.

Shout-out to the Summer Brew, a refreshing and tasty Pilsner.
