Great game at the Angel City Tuesday night! Gummies for Dummies came out hard and and kept the lead the whole game. "All Dogs go to Trivia" and "We should be studying for finals" had great late comebacks but fell just short in the end. Power puff Squirrels won the drink round with their knowledge of local geography! Thanks everyone for coming out.

Angel City Brewery is the place where dreams are made. Mostly beer, but also dreams. Oedipus and the Motherfuckers flew upon the wings of a lavender eagle in this dream on the way to victory. Tired + Stupid and Fly Fly were close behind, travelling in style upon a jelly bean jet stream.

Many of the other teams joined the dream in Round 6 when 12 of the 17 teams achieved a perfect score before landing peacefully in a bed of made of hops, the place where beer is made. Mostly dreams, but also beer.

Tuesday's blustery evening found us in Angel City's Grand Hall once again, where 83 of Los Angeles's very best and brightest contended for laud, bragging rights, and that precious precious Angel City swag. Team I Just Took a DNA Test and it Turns out I'm 100% That Bitch held a commanding lead for most of the game, but as always, one must never underestimate the power of the almighty double-down. In the end, as it so often does, the win went to Oedipus and the Motherfuckers after a fraught tiebreaker with runner-up Jurisbrewdence. Bronze went to newcomer team Cat Bitten Ears, who would have been in the running for that gold-medal tiebreaker if only they'd registered their team before the game. Don't ever let anyone tell you those two points don't matter!
