About Paragon

Allen Adams was born and raised in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley and has over twenty years of experience in the restaurant, nightclub and bar business. Allen cut his teeth managing the The Shark Club in downtown LA. While working at the Shark Club, Allen learned the importance of treating customers in such a way that garnered incredible loyalty and a multitude of return clientele. Allen moved on to be the bar manager of the Seafood Broiler and Milano’s Italian kitchen. Allen always strived to create a personable environment where the customer would feel comfortable and want to be a part of. He always puts the customer’s needs first and foremost. Allen decided after years of being in the business to venture out and open the Paragon Bar and Grill. Along with partner “CJ” Willis, their goal was to create a place in Northridge that would give the feel of going to Hollywood or Downtown, without the long drive or potential pretentiousness.

Everything we do here at Paragon Bar and Grill is prepared fresh, from our handmade cocktails, to our snacks and all of our food. Our menu was created by executive chef Greg Schroeppel. Greg has worked with Wolfgang Puck and has done a great job putting a menu together for you. Our goal is to provide the best service, drink and food in the Valley.

We had an exciting battle going on!

The top three teams set themselves up with successful doubles right from the get-go in round 1.

The Irregardless failed a double in round 2 but managed a comeback with a strong showing in round 5 and a successful double in round 6. Alternative Facts played strong all night, successfully doubling in round 5 to secure 2nd place.

The Doctor commanded the whole evening, however with successful doubles in rounds 1, 2, 5, and 6! They could even have doubled in round 3, but I suppose they felt that would've been excessive.

Tonight was one of those games that makes me remind people that, regardless of the first 3 rounds, it could still be anyone's game!

Movie Bosses broke out to an early lead with a successful double in round 1, but didn't do so well in round 2 and blew a double in round 3. In round 5, they did decently, but it was successful doubles in the last 2 rounds that brought the win home.

Oscar scored well in the first two rounds and got a double in round 3 to put them into the lead. They scored very well in the final 3 rounds, but failed to double in rounds 2 and 6. They still managed a strong 2nd place, though!

Irregardless didn't feel like they were off to that great of a start, but a strong score in round 5 and a successful double in round 6 were enough to put them into 3rd.

If Shrek had doubled in round 1 or hadn't doubled on the final round, they would have placed...

The B Sharps leapt out to an early lead, and even though Groot doubled in round 5 to pass them up, the Sharps came back with a double in round 6 to take the win. Meanwhile, Nothing recovered from a failed double in round 5 to successfully double in the final 2 rounds, swooping in to take 2nd place from Groot.

Exciting game! I look forward to seeing everyone again next week!
