About Paragon

Allen Adams was born and raised in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley and has over twenty years of experience in the restaurant, nightclub and bar business. Allen cut his teeth managing the The Shark Club in downtown LA. While working at the Shark Club, Allen learned the importance of treating customers in such a way that garnered incredible loyalty and a multitude of return clientele. Allen moved on to be the bar manager of the Seafood Broiler and Milano’s Italian kitchen. Allen always strived to create a personable environment where the customer would feel comfortable and want to be a part of. He always puts the customer’s needs first and foremost. Allen decided after years of being in the business to venture out and open the Paragon Bar and Grill. Along with partner “CJ” Willis, their goal was to create a place in Northridge that would give the feel of going to Hollywood or Downtown, without the long drive or potential pretentiousness.

Everything we do here at Paragon Bar and Grill is prepared fresh, from our handmade cocktails, to our snacks and all of our food. Our menu was created by executive chef Greg Schroeppel. Greg has worked with Wolfgang Puck and has done a great job putting a menu together for you. Our goal is to provide the best service, drink and food in the Valley.

With successful doubles in round 2, 3, and 5, Venti was the clear leader the entire night. The battle for second and third was a bit more interesting.

Brexit, Nothin', Oscar, and Shrek battled it out for 2nd and 3rd. Brexit powered forward with successful doubles in rounds 3 and 5, but then unsuccessfully doubled in the final 2 rounds. Nothin' consistently scored well, but was unable to quite reach the others. Oscar did decently most the night, but a failed double in round 6 cost them dearly. Shrek almost canceled out their double in round 3 with an incorrect guess in Guess Where, but were able to keep top scores in the final 3 rounds to take 3rd.

Sharknado took the lead with a successful double in round 3 and never looked back. Mighty Drunks made a last-second move with a successful double in the final round, but Shrek and the B-Sharps were consistently ahead of the game, taking the number 2 and 3 slots.

Tonight's quiz was a tough one, but folks rose to the challenge!

Worldstar started out strong, but a bad guess in Guess Who combined with failing to double in 2 rounds cost them the lead.

Aunt Becky was stumped by roud 6, but still nearly had the lead.

Shrek was trailing a bit behind the leaders, but doubles in the final two rounds gave them the lead.
