QUIZ RECAP

OK Boomer started off strong with a double in Round 1. 

No one doubled in Round 2, but OK Boomer still had a significant lead. 

Juno Temple of Doom made their move to 1st place in Round 3 with a double. Nasty Women, Tegridy Farms, and Tequila Mockingbirds also made significant leaps with doubles. 

The Drinking Round was "Name That Tune - Disney Edition". Oxymorons won by naming 3 correctly! 

Round 5 saw several doubles, by Free Smoke, Nasty Women, Juno Temple of Doom, and Oxymorons. Tequila Mockingbirds should have doubled. 

Going into Round 6, Juno Temple of Doom was still  in the lead, closely followed by Nasty Women and Oxymorons in 2nd. Kids Table, Soul Skaters, OK Boomer, Juno Temple of Doom all doubled. 

At the end of the game, Juno Temple of Doom stayed in the lead, followed by OK Boomer and Oxymorons.

Free Smoke started off strong with a double right off the bat. 

But There's Always Next Week and Grilled Catfish pulled ahead during the game with a double in Round 2. 

Round 5 saw doubles by Free Smoke and There's Always Next Week, putting them farther ahead. 

But it wasn't until Free Smoke doubled Round 7 that they pulled ahead into 1st place. There's Always Next Week didn't double (smart move) so they ended up in 2nd. Wise Guys came in 3rd after playing a solid game. 

The drinking round was "Name That Tune Disco Edition" and Tequila Mockingbirds won a round of drinks! 

QUIZ RECAP

Ten teams with fantastic energy took part at Pineapple Hill Saloon this week along with your Quizmaster Heather.

What a close race tonight! Underdogs and Tequila Mockingbirds were tied all the way up until the final round, I thought we were going to have to go into a Tie-Breaker round (would be a first for this Quizmaster). Unfortunately Round 7 took a turn and the successful double or nothing cemented Underdogs with their win for the night. Free Smoke and Yacht Rockets also had an impressive double or nothing in round 7 that allowed them to take the second and third place spots.  

Quiz Kid Donnie Smith, Pineapple Hillbillies, The Oxymorons, We Try, The Kids Table, and Three’s A Crowd! were all very close and were able to finish out with a still impressive night.

For the drinking round, teams were asked to name the TV theme song based off of a 5 second musical clip. Underdogs were able to get the answers in first, earning them a round of drinks! I’d say it was a pretty good night for Underdogs!
