QUIZ RECAP

After a tight race all the way through, it is Kidzbop 33 that pulls out the win with a miraculous double in the 7th round (maybe it's magic; maybe they just really know their breakfast cereals?).

The Bean Counters had a strong showing with 69 points (and some very cute illustrations on their answer sheets), coming in second. And the number of homeless dude Sean has blown is 66, placing them in third.

Also, thank you to the Brits for informing me that "Zootopia" was released as "Zootropolis" in the UK, proving that even the quizmaster can learn something new every once in a while!

And, as always, a big thank you to all the players for coming out tonight and to the kind staff at 33 Taps. See you all next week!

After an evening of excruciatingly difficult questions, it is Globochem that emerges victorious thanks to a successful double in round 6 and superior knowledge concerning high school musical theater productions!

33 Taps was out of control tonight. Quiz here, quiz there, quiz everywhere. I mean I couldn't have asked for a better night if you'd given me a banana split.

Tried and Trivial pulled out the W at the absolute last second with the hail mary double or nothing, winning by ONE POINT. Do you realize the margin for error? It's ONE.

I couldn't have asked for a better send off. Thanks to the regulars, the newbs, and the staff at 33 Taps for a great ride. I have no idea who's replacing me, but I know you'll be in good, moisturized hands.
