After our first place team had come so close to the coveted 69 point victory last week it was only fitting that the quizmaster gave Stranger Ding-A-Lings 3 an unprecedented -9 points in the final round to ensure they hit their target score. All worked out accordingly for our winning team, but fingers crossed it all works out for Eleven, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Will in their third season.

It was a Canadian affair tonight in honor of Canada day! Who knew X-Men's wolverine was Canadian? You can bet Canadian heartthrob Ryan Reynolds our final round was themed to the handsome Canuck.
Our bonus round was a simple one, come up with the best Canadian trivia team name. The winner was the "Eh" team, who already was the A-Team to start, but making the transition from one of the most American names to the most Canadian word earned a round of beer!

The best indicator of a great night of trivia is when the winning team achieves a score of 69. Sure the appropriately dirty team named Toy Story 4play: Morning Woody could have named ten South American capital cities, but with a deliberately incorrect answer of Paradise City Where the Grass is Green and the Girls are Pretty, they were able to hit their target score with sniper-like precision.
A big thanks goes to Eternal Moonshine of the Drunken Mind, who very graciously split their team into two out of fear of having an unfair advantage with too many players. They deserve an extra shout out as well for not getting mad when I teased I could have combined the scores of both teams and they still would have lost.
