About Mollusk

Mollusk opened on Halloween 2015. We are South Lake Unions newest and oldest brewpub. We focus on the craft of brewing and cooking, utilizing modern technologies and improvements to the industry while honoring time-tested technique and methods.

 

Being in the Northwest means we have access to wonderful produce and use local sourced products as much as possible. Our menu changes with the seasons and we serve as much food from scratch as we can, whether it be charcuterie, bread or vinegar.

In another solid post daylight savings night at Mollusk for King Trivia a host of new teams joined the regulars in what became a solid night. In the end the regulars Little Darlings were able to come out on top with 47 points. In what became another rough game for the bartenders, they gave up pitchers to 4 separate teams.

On this wonderful night we had The Drunken Clams with 47 points and in third came Los Tejones with 41 points. Though Los Tejones won in a close tiebreaker round over the Legend of Jackie Moon.

Mollusk continues to grow as a trivia hot spot and with new teams arriving to join a growing host of regulars this promises to continue to be a great location. Join us next time as we try to beat the bartenders and local crowd to win great prizes.

The first trivia night post daylight savings time was a smash hit as there was a good crowd of people taking a chance to enjoy the light in their local brewery. The scores were a bit low in the first few rounds as the trivia Gods faced us with some tough questions, but in the end it was the Little Darlings that were able to come out on top with 55 points.

In second and third place were Los Tejones with 49 and Miss Lilly with 44 points respectively. Miss Lilly in particular took advantage of a double or nothing to propel themselves from near the bottom of the back into third place.

As the weather gets warmer and the nights stay lighter Mollusk continues to be a fun hub for Seattle Trivia on a Monday evening. Join us next week as we promise to have another hungry trivia crowd ready for good food, cool beers, and fun trivia!

In a somewhat low scoring game The Drunken Clams were able to ring victorious as the once feared Bartender team had their biggest failure to date.

All but only a few teams had a chance to win the game as of the end of the 6th rounds, and naming out double-letter Presidents was what gave some teams the glory. Flint, Michigan Mega Bowl was able to mount a huge comeback and squeeze into a tie for third place with a huge round 7. They were able to win the tie-breaking questions with a closer answer than their counterparts the Case of the Mondays.

My Mom Says I'm Special was special to most teams in a solid second place finish. The biggest cheer of the night came when it was announced that the bartenders owed free beer to 6 separate teams, by far the most they have needed to give away this in the history of King Trivia at Mollusk.

Next week we plan to have an electric crowd as newcomers are added, and regulars begin to have fun-rivalries with one another.
