QUIZ RECAP
Well it was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving night and Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills was packed for King Trivia! 80 people loaded the front and back rooms of the bar to have a blast.
For the Drinking Round, teams sent up one person each to play a game where whoever could do the best impersonation of a turkey would win the Drinking Round and a Round of shots for whoever was drinking on their team. Several people did a fantastic job of acting their most turkeyist, but the winner thought outside the box and pretended to be a cooked turkey on the kitchen table by laying on the ground and curling into a fetal position with their legs up. Team RCSJ / Sweet Deek won the round of shots for their team!
Coming in 3rd place with 59 points were the Don't Know it Alls! They took home the $10 gift certificate! Great job!
Coming in 2nd was Mighty Mouse! They scored 61 points and took home the $20 gift certificate! Excellent job!
And last but not least, another "Mighty" team too home the 1st place prize of a $30 gift certificate. That team of course were the Mighty Mighty Puffins, who scored 79 points! Amazing job as always!

Well, we had another blast of a time this Wednesday night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia again. Let me tell you all about it...
For the Drinking Round, we played another game of name that 8-Bit Cover Song! Teams heard ten songs in the style of video game covers and had to try and make the artist and the song. It actually was a three way tie between 3 teams, Mighty Mighty Puffins, This Table Kinda Sucks, and Bust Down Trivianna answering 15 right! So to determine the winner, one more cover song was played, and the first one to get it correct would win! Answering the fastest were the Mighty Mighty Puffins and so they won the round of shots! Way to go!
Not only did they win the Drinking Round, but they also won the first place prize in trivia! They scored a commanding 84 points to win the $30 gift certificate! Woot woot!
Coming in second was Bristol Fashion who scored 72 points. They won the $20 gift certificate! Strong!
And scoring 60 points, good enough to win them the 3rd place prize and a $10 gift certificate, was New Sonic Movie... Looks Good?

Ready for another recap of King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills? Well get ready, cause here it is!
For the Drinking Round, take sent one player up from their teams to play. That week there was a national holiday called Pizza With Everything Except Anchovies Day. In honor of that holiday, for the Drinking Round, after a number selection to determine the order, each team's representative had to start a pizza order and name a topping, the next teams rep had to order the same pizza as the person before, but adding a different topping. Each person that went had to reorder the pizza with the same toppings in the correct order each while adding a new topping. Teams were eliminated either when they got the order of the toppings wrong, named a topping that someone else already said, couldn't think of another topping, or added anchovies as a topping, because #pizzawitheverythingbutanchoviesday. Each time someone was eliminated, a new pizza order would begin, but none of the previous mentioned toppings could be used on the new order. Teams were eliminated until there was only one team left standing. Plane Tart ended up surviving the onslaught and won the Drinking Round! You guys know your pizza toppings!
Coming in third place was Thesbian Phase who scored 60 points and won a $10 gift certificate!
In Second was Hanky Panky! They scored 64 points and took home the $20 gift certificate. Way to go!
And of course, in first place, was Mighty Mighty Puffins, who scored a whopping 88 points! They took home the $30 gift certificate! Way to go again you guys!
