QUIZ RECAP

T'was a more intimate night of King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub on Wednesday night. It was cold outside, but nice and warm inside the bar.

For the Drinking Round, each team sent one player to play. The game, darts. Butttttt, players had to throw with their non-dominant hands. They each got three tries, and the one that was the closest to the bullseye would win the round of shots for their teams. Team Ruf went first and set the bear high with the first dart thrown ending maybe an inch to an inch and a half away from the bullseye. No one else got that close until the last player to go, from team Feel The Rhythm, Feel the Rhyme through their last dart, which ended up a half an inch or less from the bullseye. Since they were the last team to go, and they got the closest to the bullseye, they won the shots! Talk about Clutch!

In Second Place, Dog Mama's and Papas, scored 49 points. They started the night with a successful double or nothing in Round 1, and led the game through Round 6. But in the final round, our winning team took over the lead! Nice try regardless!

Bet you can't guess which team were the lead stealers for first place.... Oh you guessed the Mighty Mighty Puffins? Then I owe you 2 quarters. They stole the lead right out from the Dog Mama's and Papas paws! The Puffins scored 51 points to just edge out the DM&Ps in the final round, and all withoit any Double or nothing's! Way to go guys!

What's that? You're ready for yet another recap of Wednesday night's King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills? Ok! You've got it!

About 10 teams and about 40 people came to play trivia on Wednesday night hoping to win some gift certificates or shots!

For the drinking round, teams had to compete to see who could stack the solo cups into a pyramid and then put them all back into 1 stack the fastest (pictures above). Coming in 1st with 17.57 seconds were the Mighty Mighty Puffins, who were the first team to play the drinking round! Way to set the bar!

The Puffins also rocked first place as well scoring 70 points to reign supreme as the big winners of the night! 2 successful double or nothing's in rounds 1 and 2 kept them ahead of the pack the whole night.

Coming in a close second place with 65 points was team Ctrl + S or Be Screwed! They doubled successfully in rounds 3 and 5 but just came up 5 points short of the Puffins! Nice try guys! Way to win the $20 gift certificate!

And last but not least, because there were other teams that scored less than our 3rd place team, Diversity Poster scored 58 points and a $10 gift certificate!

QUIZ RECAP

Single or not single, trivia players packed into Pickwick's Pub for a romantic evening of King Trivia!

For the drinking round, teams had to submit their best corny jokes. There were some good ones, but the winner was team Bonus Pints with their joke: "Why can't you hear a Pteradactyl going to the bathroom? Because it's pee is silent!" Way to go Bonus Pints! Some of the other great corny jokes are photographed above!

Coming in 3rd place as well as winning the drinking round was Bonus Pints who scored 49 points playing by herself! Great job!

Then we had Alternative Facts in 2nd place with 52 points and taking home the $20 gift certificate!

And as per usual, our in house trivia dominators, the Mighty Mighty Puffins took home 1st place with 62 points and led from round one all the way through to the end. Way to go MMP!
