ABOUT US

At Bank of Venice, you are dining in a 1905 landmark. Venice founder, Mr. Abbot Kinney, designed the building after the famous Saint Mark’s Square in Venice, Italy. For years, the pacific railcar dropped beach-goers just outside these doors to enjoy the sun, sand, waves— all that Venice has to offer.

Now, over a century later, we’ve memorialized this icon of Venice lifestyle in the form of a bar & grill, where all are welcome to drink bespoke cocktails, craft beer and California wine, while indulging in locally-sourced cuisine. So sit back, enjoy and don’t panic. It’s organic!

Ah, Halloween! The questions this week were fun and seasonal, but seemed to give our geniuses some head scratching. LORDZ & QWEENZ shot right outta the gate with a successful double on round 2. GUNS! WHAT ARE THEY GOOD FOR chased them all night but couldn't quite catch up, ending up with the second place gift voucher to Bank of Venice. The "Guess Who" round stumped everybody until the final clue, The BAR FLYS did get it though, and they also nailed the drinking round by coming up with the #1 answer for Lyst & Pintrest's Halloween costume predictions for 2018 - Tonya Harding! Shout out to my favorite team name of the night - WE KNOW CPR. Too bad they had to leave before the final round, but the BAR FLYS were happy to get the 3rd place candy! See you meowers next week 😉

Many Dodger fans bailed in tears after the game, but the rest of us drowned our disappointment in booze and King Trivia! 5 teams were neck and neck in a breezy truncated game (6 rounds due to the late start, many thanks to BoV for staying open a little late!) but in the end the Eclectic Electrics took home the fortune. (Yeah...say "Eclectic Electrics" ten times fast!) Everybody went home happy and a little smarter. Hasta la next week 😉

A seventh round double or nothing almost upended the team which had been in the lead during the entire game. In the end, King Trivia team registration made the difference. Great night!
